Turning Ideas into New Ventures
The South Peace Enterprise Centre Society is a non-profit society
that was formed to operate the Kiwanis Enterprise Centre. The Board
of Directors is comprised of representatives from the community including
members of School District #59, Kiwanis Club of Dawson Creek, Dawson
Creek Rotary Club, Northern Lights College, City of Dawson Creek
and self-employed business people who administer the society. Doris
Brocke, Manager of the Kiwanis Enterprise Centre, oversee the day
to day operations.

that provide successful and innovative business development for the
benefit of the Peace Region.” - mission statement
The South Peace Enterprise Centre Society was incorporated September
24, 1986. The purpose of the Society is:
- to foster entrepreneurial training in the area;
- to provide space and resources for people to acquire practical
business and new venture formation experience;
- to provide a community resource of economic information and opportunities
in Canada.
